他的离去令人悲痛，但他所秉持的信念与精神，不会因此而结束。我会继续以自己的方式，将这份精神传承下去。

一个人的生命终有尽时，但真正具有意义的精神与信念，可以由后来者继续承载，也可以在一代又一代人的行动中延续。
对董先生最好的怀念，不仅是追思他的过去，更是继续他所关心和珍视的事业。
这既是我对董建华先生最深切的怀念，也是我愿意继续承担的一份责任与使命。

Forever Mr. Tung
Mr. Tung Chee-hwa’s life was closely intertwined with Hong Kong, the nation, and this era. To me, what he leaves behind is not only a history worth remembering, but also a spirit, a breadth of mind, and an unwavering sense of responsibility toward the country, Hong Kong, and its people.
His passing is deeply saddening, but the convictions and spirit he upheld will not end here. I will continue to carry forward this spirit in my own way.
To devote myself to the motherland and my compatriots,
to fulfill my responsibility for Hong Kong’s prosperity, stability, and future,
and to continue doing what I can to enhance mutual understanding and friendship between the Chinese and American people, as well as to promote the improvement of bilateral relations.
A person’s life eventually comes to an end, but a truly meaningful spirit and convictions can be carried on by those who come after, and can live on through the actions of generation after generation.
The best way to remember Mr. Tung is not merely to recall his past, but to continue the endeavors he cared for and cherished.
This is both my deepest remembrance of Mr. Tung Chee-hwa and a responsibility and mission I am willing to continue to undertake.
I offer my deepest condolences and respect.
