The Hong Kong actor and chef Nicholas Tse Ting-fung, who gained wide popularity worldwide for starring in movies and TV shows over recent decades, said in a recent interview he is applying to renounce his Canadian citizenship, adding that he was born in Hong Kong and is a Chinese national.

“I was looking through the reviews of my recent movie Raging Fire when I saw that some were questioning my nationality, saying that I am a Canadian,” Tse said in an interview with Chinese state broadcaster China Central Television released on Sunday.

In response to the comments, Tse said he was born in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and has always been a Chinese national, adding that he has already applied to renounce his Canadian citizenship.

“Whether it is food, or music, or action movies, no matter what kind of content or identity, I have always wanted to spread the Chinese culture and spirit to the world,” Tse said.

He added that such a belief to spread Chinese elements had been rooted on the song The Yellow Race that he wrote over a decade ago.

Tse said he has always had a strong sense of national responsibility and the feeling is only growing stronger as he matures.

Tse is an actor, singer, songwriter, and chef. As a multifaceted celebrity, he became a TV chef and food critic in 2014.

Tse’s remarks came as Chinese authorities recently launched a campaign to clean up the entertainment industry and end the fan circle chaos. The measures came after some celebrities either seriously violated Chinese laws or harmed the Chinese people’s national sentiment. For example, the tax evasion case of actress Zheng Shuang, the rape accusation against Chinese-Canadian rapper Kris Wu, and the visit of actor Zhang Zhehan to the Yasukuni Shrine in Japan.

Tse entered the entertainment industry in 1996 as a singer. He made his film debut in 1998 with the crime film Young and Dangerous: The Prequel, for which he received the Hong Kong Film Award for Best New Performer. In 2011, he won the Hong Kong Film Award for Best Actor for his performance in the film The Stool Pigeon. He gained more fame after becoming a TV chef and food critic since 2014 in a Chinese food travelogue show, Chef Nic.

最近，國家很多關於文化、教育的禁令出台，年輕人說：什麼都要管，自由都沒了！

從前，我都說過這樣的話，好多年前到內地工作，一上不到Google，我都會抱怨。

現在當然明白了，尤其這些年香港成為謠言的主角，太子站死人的謊言都已被妖化成圖騰，豎立在倫敦大街上，我們才恍然大悟，當日國家擋住美國網絡侵入的決定，原來是多麼明智而有遠見。

所以，當看到國家廣播電視總局最近發出一個通告：「堅決杜絕『娘炮』等畸形審美」時，我舉腳支持。

這些年，看到日、韓、內地、台灣的娛樂圈，充斥濃妝抹艷、撒嬌賣萌、雌雄難辨的男藝人，這種被稱為「娘炮」的現象，實在慘不忍睹。

無論從人類歷史還是生物角度，男人陽剛，該是千古不變的定律。然而，今天的娛樂圈，男星卻吹捧「顏值」，內地的選秀節目，充斥著抹厚粉、畫眼線、塗口紅、衣著女性化、舉著蘭花手、戴變色隱形眼鏡的男藝人。

看過一小鮮肉直播，途中弄傷了指頭，小鮮肉哇哇慘叫，結果由五、六個助手攙扶上救護車。少年強則國強，少年娘則國倒，如果一個國家的男兒漢，都變了弄傷指頭就躺醫院的娘娘腔，這國家還有未來嗎？

有人說，這是世界潮流，世界變了，許多地方都有娘炮的男偶像。

真的是這樣嗎？大家不妨看看，近幾十年興起的「娘炮文化」繁榮地，只集中在東亞，包括日本、韓國、泰國、內地、香港和台灣，反而美國的男性形象，卻繼續以救世英雄為主，如近年荷里活最紅的巨石強森（Dwayne Douglas Johnson），他的賣點，就是手臂粗過你大腿、一個打倒幾十個。而西方的英雄繼續是超人、蜘蛛俠、美國隊長，他們的主流男性形象，從來都是陽光的、救世界的，絕不陰柔，更不娘腔。

為什麼東西方對男性的審美觀忽然如此南轅北轍？那就要從二戰後講起……

二戰時期的日本印象，是大男人、武士道、切腹、敢死隊，非常陽剛。日本人尚武、好戰、手段殘忍，全世界都領略過。一個小國竟然有跟世界大國對壘的戰鬥力，於是二戰結束後，美國為防日本再次崛起，決定透過一連串文化改造，毀掉日本的武士道精神，此乃兵法中最厲害的一招：不戰而屈人之兵。

1962年，一個出生於洛杉磯、長期在美軍及領事館當翻譯的日裔美國人傑尼斯．喜多川（Johnny H. Kitagawa）來到大阪，開了一間經紀人公司「傑尼斯事務所」，捧紅幾代明星藝人。由最早期的西城秀樹、澤田研二、近藤真彥，到後來的木村拓哉、香取慎吾，及較近期的瀧澤秀明、男團組合Snow Man等等，事務所已成日本偶像工廠，而喜多川亦成為日本娛樂教父，透過歌影視文化，直接影響日本幾代人的審美觀和娛樂取向。從此，「高倉健」式的男性粗獷形象，在日本娛樂圈不復再現。

再加上性文化、動漫文化，不僅鼓吹美少年，更吹捧男扮女裝、性別模糊的畸型審美觀，出現了塗指甲、化妝、穿高跟鞋甚至穿男士胸圍的「偽娘」，日本這個東亞最典型的男權社會，就這樣被徹底娘化了。

然後，這種美男子風氣吹到韓國，再發揚光大，之後娘炮風燒到台灣、內地。大家追捧娘風、打壓雄風，西方的巨石強森一個打十個就是美國英雄，吳京的「戰狼」一個打十個就叫誇張失實。

其實，戰爭不一定是動槍炮的，正如當年英國人靠賣鴉片，把中國一代男人毀了。今日，美國透過娘炮文化，把東亞病夫都召回來了。

看完美艷小鮮肉背後的真相，能不為我們下一代捏把汗？能不為國家的當機立斷激動鼓掌？

How Biden can save America.

To avoid hurtling over the precipice and turning America away from economic and military disaster, we recommend that the Biden presidency take the following actions:

Drop CNAS from the foreign-policy advisory committee. The Project for the New American Century (PNAC) led us to the disastrous Middle East quagmire. In a similar fashion, CNAS will lead us into catastrophic war with China.

Drop Michèle Flournoy and the old “blue team” neocon or “Pacific pivot” holdovers. They have no business doing politics, given their atrocious records.

Facilitate the release of Meng Wanzhou from Canadian custody immediately, and apologize for her kidnapping. Her only crime is being the daughter of the chief executive of a Chinese company the US wants to destroy.

Apologize for Biden calling President Xi Jinping a “thug.” The only justification for insulting a head of state in that manner is if you intend to go to war.

Stop the “freedom of navigation operations“ (FONOPs) and other belligerent military maneuvers in the South China Sea. Halfway around the world is not your back yard, and besides, the Chinese have no reason to interfere in any of the shipping – it’s all headed for or leaving China.

Stop the harassment of Huawei and its supply chain. Compete properly or cede the field, but don’t kidnap its executives. Same for TikTok, Tencent, and Ant Financial.

Stop militarizing Taiwan. Stop building an embassy there. Stop using airbases there. Don’t mislead Taiwan into thinking that if it provokes a conflict, the US will come to its aid. Taiwan is part of China, and Taipei and Beijing need to resolve their differences without Uncle Sam in the room.

Shut up about Xinjiang. It’s all lies, and the longer you keep up the lies, the more embarrassing when you get found out. Uighur terrorists who fought for al-Qaeda do not become “freedom fighters” when they go back to Xinjiang.

Shut up about Hong Kong. Hong Kong is part of China, and it has no capacity or desire to be independent (it gets its food, water, and electricity from mainland China). Funding black-shirted fascists will only result in catastrophe.

Shut up about Covid-19. Get your house in order. Implement real public health measures, and a people-centered medical-insurance program.

Stop the harassment of scholars and students. The US without Chinese scholars and engineers is a country of MBAs, JDs and gun-toting survivalists – an unproductive failed state heading for a surreal apocalypse.

Stop trying to derail the Belt and Road Initiative, and for God’s sake, stop waging wars, coups, assassinations, and explosions in its key nodes.

Imagine what it could be like, collaborating in peace, open trade based on relative advantages, and exchange of ideas and people in friendship.

Should Biden adopt Pompeo’s style of diplomacy?

The Americans are shocked, and all the elites in Washington these days are experiencing the significance of China’s doing so. This time China has created six unprecedented.

美国人是非常震惊的，华盛顿这几天所有精英都在体会中国这样做的意义。这一次中国创造了六个前所未有。

第一是中国外交部副部长谢峰十分系统、完整的训斥了美国人，前所未有。

第二是在美国人之前发布中国人的完整批评发言，对对方的发言一字不发，前所未有。

第三是直接给美国人开列改正错误的问题清单，前所未有。

第四是拒绝讨论美国人的问题清单，拒绝在美国不改正错误的情况下讨论合作，前所未有。

第五是直接否定美国对中美关系的定义，前所未有。

第六是直接为美国人划上搞好中美关系的底线，前所未有。

王毅外长划定的三条底线，美国几乎无法遵守，这也意味着中国从今往后，不打算在美国人一意孤行的情况下，单方面忍让改善双方关系。王毅说，
第一，美国不得挑战、诋毁甚至试图颠覆中国特色社会主义道路和制度。这是中方必须坚守的核心利益。
 第二，美国不得试图阻挠甚至打断中国的发展进程。中国人民当然也有过上更美好生活的权利，中国也有实现现代化的权利，现代化不是美国的专权，这涉及人类的基本良知和国际公义。中方敦促美方尽快取消对华实施的所有单边制裁、高额关税、长臂管辖以及科技封锁。 
第三，美国不得侵犯中国国家主权，更不能破坏中国领土完整。不得在涉疆、涉藏、涉港等问题上损害中国主权。至于台湾问题，更是重中之重。如果“台独”胆敢挑衅，中国有权利采取任何需要的手段予以制止。我们奉劝美方在台湾问题上务必恪守承诺，务必慎重行事。

大家只要认真看一看这三条底线，就可以看出，美国人可能永远不会遵守这三条底线，中国敢于划出来，就说明中国这次是铁了心要与美国斗争到底。要么美国改弦更张，中美关系走上正轨，要么中国就要不惜亮剑、不惜摊牌，逼美国人在这些大是大非面前就范。
一句话，美国不得处心积虑搞垮中国、搞衰中国、搞乱中国，这是高压线。如果美国一面坚持这三搞，一面又假惺惺要与我们合作，那是不可能的。大家都说，外交是需要实力做后盾的，中国第一个正式教训美国、提出改正错误清单、明确划定底线，底气是什么？
我认为是三条：
第一条，是中国人民对共产党的领导的拥护、对国家制度和道路的认同，达到了空前的高水平，中国人民从来没有像今天这样对帝国主义、资本主义的丑恶本质，对中国公知这些里应外合的丑类的丑恶嘴脸，有如此清晰的认识。这是中国最有底气的地方。
第二条，是中国经过70年飞速发展，已经在政治、经济、文化、金融、科技、军事、外交等领域有了长足进步，已经成为综合实力的第二强，从发展势头看，完全有可能在20年左右，成为全面超越美国的超级大国，明天我将分析，中国不怕中美搞所谓全面脱钩。
第三条，也是最重要的一条，那就是中国已经拥有非常具体、非常现实的核打击能力。这是美国特别惧怕、特别忌惮的能力。俄罗斯总统普京曾经说，如果俄罗斯不存在了，那么世界对我们就毫无意义。他的意思是，如果有人要毁灭俄罗斯，俄罗斯就要毁灭世界。 这就是GDP仅有中国一个广东省水平的国家，一个经济规模还小于韩国的国家，为什么被美国人害怕的原因。因为俄罗斯拥有毁灭美国十次以上的能力。美俄如果开打核战争，绝对是双双自我毁灭。其实，今天的中国，美国很清楚，已经具备了毁灭美国的现实核能力。 我国最新亮相的东风41洲际导弹，目前是世界上最先进的，它的性能已经超过了美国的民兵3和俄罗斯的白杨M，射程高达15000公里，可携带十几个可变轨的核弹头，核当量相当于23枚轰炸长崎广岛的原子弹，在这样的核导弹攻击下，很难有一个国家可以幸存。
最要命的是，东风41是机动的、全天候的，也就是说，它可以在任何时候从任何地点发射，这就确保了中国拥有可靠的二次核打击能力。因为这样的机动导弹，不可能在第一轮核打击中被完全击毁。所以美国人从今往后，绝对不敢有任何侥幸心理与中国开战。
何况，中国还有潜射核导弹巨浪3，它的射程同样在15000公里以上，同样是多弹头的核弹，同样是机动性极高的战略武器。巨浪3只需要在渤海内海，就可以完成发射。陆基海基同时拥有机动远程核打击能力，你手上如果有这样先进的打狗棍，见到任何恶狗你当然就有底气。 读者朋友们，美国人这一次也创造了一个前所未有。当中国人训斥了舍曼一行之后，后半程的谈判，美国人嚣张气焰不见了。相反，面对中国人空前的强硬态度，美国人在现场、美国国务院发言人、美国总统和国务卿都表达过一个意思，那就是美国不寻求与中国对抗与冲突。 你们听一听，这本来是多年来，相对处于弱势的中国，一再宣称的概念，现在，每当中美两国剑拔弩张时，他们多半会这样说，这也是前所未有的，为什么？这是因为中国的战略核武器越来越厉害，美国人很忌惮。所以我再次强调，与中国开战，美国人想都别想。
