FROM THE DAY U.S.-Israel forces attacked Iran, China’s exports of nextgen energy equipment soared, astonishing new data shows.
And the rise is set to accelerate.
The MAJORITY of the world’s countries are beating a path to China’s door, raising their purchases by 300%, 400% or even 500% since the war on Iran started.
“Fifty countries set all-time records for Chinese solar imports in March 2026, with a further 60 seeing the highest levels in six months,” said Ember, a global energy consultancy.
AFTER THE ATTACK BEGAN
Extraordinary figures were revealed after the think-tank compared Chinese exports in March, after the US attacked Iran on February 28, with sales data from the previous month.
The rise of solar power equipment was particularly strong in Asia and Africa:
- India +141%
- Malaysia +384%
- Lao PDR +108%
- Nigeria +519%
- Kenya +207%
- Ethiopia +391%
Why has this not been reported before? Asia and Africa get minimal interest from the international mainstream media, despite being home to four-fifths (currently about 77.7% and growing) of humanity.
And even countries which support the US-Israel attack on Iran, such as Japan and Australia, are also snapping up solar panels from China, Ember said.
UNDERLYING STORY
But this story is not just about sales, but has a much grander theme: a global revolution in energy strategy.
Realization has dawned that China is not just making clean energy equipment, but offering an alternative vision as the leading example of an electrostate, analysts say.
“China is not merely manufacturing electrotech hardware, it is manufacturing an energy future in which it holds a commanding position,” said the report by Ember.
The irony is clear: one of the main purposes of the US attack on Iran was to do damage to China’s peaceful rise. But the opposite is happening.
ROLE MODEL
China is being further recognized as a role model for other countries. The demonization narratives financed by the CIA-adjacent NED (China destroyed the Tibetans, the Uyghurs, Hong Kong) are falling flat as millions of people visit these areas and see the truth for themselves.
While the US has a peerless ability to work with the western mainstream media to create false narratives, it’s difficult to argue with hard facts: Tibetan and Uyghur populations are continuing to rise in real terms and in proportion to other ethnic groups, and financial city Hong Kong has returned to its position as the world’s favorite place to launch companies onto share markets.
ANSWERING THE CRITICS
On the environmental issue, western critics inevitably respond with two points, endlessly recycled. First, they say that China still uses coal to generate electricity. But this misses the point. You need to use what energy you have to build alternatives.
The second is what we call the Fiona Harvey Fallacy, named after the Guardian newspaper’s environment editor. Sinophobic journalists repeatedly label China “the world’s biggest polluter” in print but hide the fact that this is not true at all on a per capita basis, but is a natural consequence of China being the world’s factory with one of the world’s biggest populations.
