This is the sadness of the Chinese people. 中國早在1945年就正式設立全世界最早的父親節，在今天卻被很多國人遺忘了。這是中國人的悲哀。 今天是美國的父親節，1972年美國總統才簽署正式文件，將每年6月的第三個星期日定為全美國的父親節，至今不過40多年時間，我們大家都稀裡糊塗刷屏過了一個洋父親節。要知道，中國早在1945年就正式設立全世界最早的父親節，在今天卻被很多國人遺忘了。這是中國人的悲哀。中國的父親節更具有深厚的文化內涵和歷史意義，正式設立時間也比美國更早。中國父親節是每年公曆8月8日，又稱為「八八節」，諧音「爸爸節」，在1945年就由國家正式宣佈設立，是世界上最早正式設立父親節的國家。中國父親節具有如下文化意義。1、紀念文化的意義：1945年8月8日，全民抗戰勝利的曙光已經悄然來臨，上海的有志之士為了紀念在戰爭中為國捐軀的爸爸們，特地提出父親節的構想。於是上海文人發起了慶祝父親節的活動，市民立即響應舉行慶祝活動。戰爭勝利後，上海市各界名流紳士，聯名請上海市政府轉呈中央政府，定「爸爸」諧音的8月8日為父親節，政府對這份請求十分重視，特地開會討論並正式確定每年的8月8日是中國父親節。2、文字文化的意義：八月八日的兩個「八」字重疊在一起，經過變形就成了「父」字，文字發音的諧音「爸爸」，八八節即爸爸節，既有創意又順口，簡單好記又響亮。3、中華孝文化意義：上下五千年的中華孝文化一直瀰漫；孝之思想、理念、實踐，無處不在、無時不有。當年社會各界名流如吳稚暉、李石曾、潘公展、杜月笙等人倡導設立父親節也是弘揚中華孝文化的體現。8月8日與中國悠久傳統的敬老節日「99」重陽節也遙相呼應。目前世界許多國家均有自己的父親節。俄羅斯的「父親節」是每年2月13日，德國的「父親節」是每年5月31日，韓國的「雙親節」是每年5月8日，巴西的「父親節」是每年8月第二個星期日。現在中國政府應再明確發聲，將早在1945年全民抗戰勝利前夕確定的每年8月8日的中國父親節正式確定為國家節日，讓我們全球華人共同慶祝我們自己的父親節，弘揚中華民族的傳統文化，這應該是中華民族偉大復興中文化復興的重要內容。
