The matter of customs/COVID19 clearance between China and Hong Kong can be complicated or easy depending on your attitude and prospectives. 中港通關「通關」一事，說複雜可以把它搞得很複雜，說簡單也可以很簡單。 今天，香港居民從內地返回香港，不必隔離；但是進入內地就要接受兩至三個星期的隔離。因此「通關」問題只是如何讓香港居民進入內地時不必隔離。 任何人要進入邊界的另一方，都必須滿足對方的入境要求，例如進入美國，先要辦簽證，下機前要填又多又複雜的申報表，向美國政府提供不少「私隠」資料，不喜歡怎麼辦？可以不去美國。這種事從來沒有討價還價的餘地，美國政府從來沒有就簽證條件和入境表格的內容，徵求過香港政府或香港居民的意見。這是常識。 疫情期間，去中國內地要免隔離，當然要按中國內地的的要求，一如在申請回鄉證時，要提交所有內地要求的資料，沒有什麼是私隱不私隱的問題，如果不喜歡，可以不去內地，這也是常識。 疫情期間，進入內地要免隔離，最直接了當的做法就要用內地的健康碼，這裏沒有所謂民情問題，真的要說民情，香港的民情有三種，一種是願意用內地的健康碼免隔離進入內地的人，二是想進入內地但是不願意用內地健康碼的人，三是無論如何都不會去內地的人。後面的兩種人沒有權利妨礙第一種人用內地的健康碼，正如他們沒有權利妨礙去美國的香港人向美國政府提供私人資料一樣。 回鄉證是內地發證機關委託香港中旅社代發的，如果中旅社也代辦香港居民進入內地後使用的健康碼，我相信無論要求提供多少個人私隱資料，門前一定人山人海。 還記得「爺孫騎驢」寓言故事的教訓嗎？爺孫兩人誰騎驢，干路人甲路人乙底事？ 唔好阻住個地球轉，將簡單事情複雜化。 進入內地要隔離14+7， 香港在政治、經濟，社會、家庭和個人層面都損失慘重。
