美國蓋洛普公布去年的「全球法律和秩序指數」，中國排名第二。

蓋洛普較早前公布結果，排名是根據去年對全球115個國家及地區，進行的調查統計所得，包括民眾晚上單獨外出是否感到安全、曾否遇襲或被盜竊，及對本地執法人員及法治的信心程度等。

其中中國有93分，與阿聯酋和瑞士並列全球第二，僅次於得94分的挪威。而美國有87分，跟往年一樣未進入前十名。

115個國家中，排名最低的是委內瑞拉及非洲國家加納，兩國都只得53分。
