This is happening in the UK. What Bobby Chan said is exactly what I’ve been saying. Unfortunately I heard the HK pro independence group which you can see when the camera scanned to them eventually created a big physical fight with the anti-Asian anti imperialism group.
The pro HK independence group would not allow others to speak out freely and used the same violent tactic used in HK to stifle free speech in the UK.
UK Chinese are like the SF Chinese , the majority are peaceful supporters of China. But the recent arrival of HK dissidents and BNOers in the UK is creating social unrest. In the US a few HK dissidents were able to find refuge here. But their numbers are too far and few to make a difference. Mark Rubio at least did something right. He killed the HK refugee bill for nefarious reasons claiming there maybe China spies among them coming in. But I hear it might be resurrected. If that happens and it brings in thousands of dissidents as it did in the UK I’m concerned the SF Chinese community may be thrown into turmoil. And this will be exploited to stifle those of us working towards peace.”
