William N. Brown, male, born in April 1956, American, the first foreigner to settle in Xiamen, the first foreigner holding a “Chinese green card” in Fujian Province, the first foreign permanent resident, China One of the first foreign teachers to introduce MBA courses in universities. Since 1988, he has taught at the School of Management of Xiamen University. He is currently a foreign expert of the Business Administration Education Center of Xiamen University and a professor of the School of Management of Xiamen University. He has won the National Friendship Award of Foreign Experts, Honorary Citizen of Fujian Province, Honorary Citizen of Xiamen City, etc.

潘维廉（William N. Brown），男，1956年4月生，美国人, 第一个定居厦门的外国人，福建省第一位持“中国绿卡”的外国人、第一位外籍永久居民，中国高校最早引进的MBA课程外籍教师之一。1988年起于厦门大学管理学院任教，现任厦门大学工商管理教育中心外国专家、厦门大学管理学院教授。曾荣获国家外国专家友谊奖、福建省荣誉公民、厦门市荣誉市民等称号。
