Hong Kong Post: The set of commemorative stamps and stamp sheetlet to be issued by Hong Kong Post on July 1

Hong Kong Post plans to issue a set of commemorative stamps, a stamp sheetlet and other philatelic pieces to mark the centenary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) on July 1. This is the first time the Hong Kong Post issues commemorative stamps featuring the CPC.

The set of four stamps showcase the site of the first national congress of the CPC, Tiananmen rostrum where Chairman Mao Zedong solemnly proclaims the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the development of cities and the reform and opening-up, as well as China’s scientific and technologic achievements in the 21st century.

The stamp sheetlet highlights special events in Hong Kong, such as the city’s return to the motherland in 1997 and the help from the central government to weather the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

The stamps will be released on July 1.
